My Adventure Motorcycles & Gear

I currently ride two adventure motorcycles: a 2018 Kawasaki KLR 650 and a 2024 Honda Transalp 700.

For the Pan-American leg of my journey, I'll be riding the KLR 650. For those familiar with this model, rest assured—both the Doohickey and Thermobob upgrades have been completed.

The bike is also equipped with a front fork brace and SW-Motech crash protection to enhance stability and safety on rugged terrain.

My luggage setup includes 46-liter Givi Trekker panniers and a 33-liter top case, providing ample storage for long-distance travel. I also carry two 2.5-liter Givi fuel packs, mounted on the rear of each pannier for extended range.

For navigation and communication, I use a TomTom Rider 550 GPS navigator and a Garmin InReach satellite communicator, ensuring I stay on track and connected in remote areas.

Riding Gear

All of my gear is personally selected and not sponsored. I have a strong preference for REV'IT! apparel due to its comfort, durability, and weather protection.

  • Riding Pants: REV'IT! Sand 4 H2O

  • Jacket System: REV'IT! Nucleus armored top layered with the Component 2 H2O jacket

  • Helmet: Scorpion EXO-AT960

  • Boots: REV'IT! Everest GTX

This setup has been carefully chosen to handle the demands of long-distance adventure riding in a variety of climates and terrains.
